Overall, the food is really bad here now. My wife and I went here a few years back and the crab cakes were delicious. That is not the case anymore. They are barely broiled and are definitely unseasoned. You can see in the pictures below, from what they were to what they are now. They also don’t have lump crab meat. For the price point of $43 for two crab cakes, you’d think you’d get some lump.
We also tried the cream of crab soup, which tasted like nothing but cheese. It also had virtually no crab in it.

Nice stop for shellfish/crabs/fish/etc…. May be a tourist spot, but great for tourists. Had the steamer pot and a salad with shrimp. Both were very good. Upstairs seating on the deck made for a great atmosphere. Busy and had to wait but I guess that seems to be the case with all the seafood joints in OC.
Restrooms on the upper deck do need to be cleaned better though.

We ordered crabs, calamari, and large shrimp. Crabs 🦀 were good but lacked in seasoning. Calamari was good. Didn't get the chance to try the shrimp. We were served our food in record time. The waitress forgot about our soup.
