The overall rating was saved by our server. She was amazing and attentive.
We almost left to go to a different restaurant because the size of the menu was so small. It seems as though recently the menu has changed and options have been removed (previous pictures of the menu were refer3nced before deciding on going). We each ordered one of the night's specials which included ribs and 1lb of steamed shrimp with corn and mac and cheese.
Again the service was perfect. Our drinks were never empty and we were checked on by multiple people.
We were immediately concerned by some cleanliness issues when we witnessed every table that was cleared was never cleaned. The staff member came to each table, folded the brown paper into itself, left to throw that away and get new utensils. He returned with new brown paper, never once spraying or wiping anything down, and threw the new utensils on to the table.
Once our food was delivered it was evident our shrimp was not the same as seen in previous photos. Our shrimp (pictured) were small, difficult to peel, and were inconsistent with cooking time. Some were mushy while others were clearly overcooked. Other shrimp seen in photos were deveined and large.
The ribs were tough to eat; however, the sauce used was very tasty. The mac and cheese and corn were cooked well and enjoyed.

We had a great time at Blue crabhouse! Food was great and we also got to know Veselin! It’s our first time in Ocean City and we got a postcard from his passion — photography! My husband and I loved it and we would definitely come back! Thanks Veselin! Godspeed :)

Nice place on the Bay. The atmosphere is comfy and relaxing. Great service. But the food wished to be better, the risotto had perfectly cooked scallops but the rice was like a porridge, overlooked and had no taste. Portion. The rice was crazy small too.
